Big KUDOS on higher education obtainment. You will soon enter the realm of yet another minority: Black, male, advance degree holder. Welcome!

Ignore the envious and jealous folk who will consider you uppity or other adjectives. I often utilize my degree for teachable moments. Example. It's entertaining when folks( Black, White and other) stereotype me upon first impression, yet ponder why "you speak so well" or stand erect. ;-) First, I witness the varied expressions of embarrassment, then, instant respect gained, smiles and a comfort level obtained all upon discovery that this Negro ain't what they thought (shattered their stereotype). Have fun!
